On March 9th, 2006, Harry Seidler passed away peacefully after suffering a severe stroke on 25th of April 2005. Born in Austria in 1923, he went to Australia in 1948 and became one of the most important architects for skyscrapers. His work has changed the skylines of cities all over the world, especially in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. His recently built "Hochhaus Neue Donau / Seidler Tower" at the Donaucity in Vienna was a late reparation after his escape from Vienna.
